SUMMARY:GUARANTEE OF ORIGIN (GO) PRIME MOVERS UNION DATABASE (UDB) WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:Dear Stakeholders\, \nThe Guarantee of Origin (GO) Prime Movers\, comprising experts from Energy Traders Europe\, Eurogas\, EBA\, GIE\, ENTSOG\, and ERGAR\, invite you to a public workshop on 11 April  2024 from 10:00 to 16:00 CET. The event will be in a hybrid format\, on-line and at the ENTSOG office\, Avenue de Cortenbergh\, 100 – 1000 Brussels.\nThis workshop will take place under Chatham House rules. \nThe goal of this workshop is to contribute to the concept phase of the Union DataBase (UDB\, RED-III Art.31a) for gas developed by the European Commission. We would like to share views on how data flows could be arranged between the various users of the future UDB and what should be the role of these UDB’s users. \nThe workshop will comprise several sessions\, with expert presentations\, panel discussion and interactive Q&A with the participants. \nThe opening session will focus on current practices to trade biomethane and to disclose information to end-consumers. \nThe workshop will also include discussion how the UDB could be considered in the current processes\, especially how the Guarantees of Origin (GO\, RED-III Art.19) and Proof of Sustainability (PoS\, RED-III Art.30) can be linked and used. \nAn agenda will be available in the coming weeks in the ‘agenda’ tab on this page. \nREGISTER here and indicate if you plan to join in-person or online before 28 March COB.\nThe number of participants for the in-person format is limited due to the venue’s capacity\, and registrations will be on a first-come\, first-served basis.
