ERGaR welcomes Enagás S.A. and Swedegas AB as new members

Vienna, July 2018 – The ERGaR General Assembly welcomed Enagás S.A. (ES) and Swedegas AB (SE) as full members, during the Board Meeting and General Assembly on the 3rd of July 2018, held in Vienna.

Enagás is Spain’s leading natural gas infrastructure company and Technical Manager of the Spanish gas system. It has around 12,000 km of gas pipelines, three underground storage facilities and four regasification plants. Enagás is accredited as an independent TSO by the European Union and carries out its activities in eight different countries. Enagás is committed to work for the development of renewable gases (biomethane and hydrogen) in the Spanish market.

SWEDEGAS is Sweden’s natural gas TSO and is developing a new infrastructure for biogas, hydrogen and LNG. SWEDEGAS is very ambitious and aims at 30 per cent renewable gas by 2030 and 100 per cent by 2050.
