Our Communication and Policy Officer, Valentin Calfa, attended the fourth Consortium Meeting of the METHAREN project in Rome this week. Valentin provided an overview of the current advancements in cross-border trade involving renewable gas certificates, including insights into the Union Database.
Partners presented the current status of the tasks and engaged in discussions regarding challenges and potential solutions to be explored in the upcoming months.

METHAREN is an innovation actions project funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe program. Its objective is to demonstrate a cost-effective, innovative, sustainable, and circular biomethane production system that enables the management of renewable energy sources’ intermittency.
