ERGaR launches Cert-X Europe, new ERGaR platform for cross-border certificate transfers

Brussels, September 2024

We are pleased to announce the successful launch of Cert-X Europe, a new platform developed to facilitate the cross-border transfer of certificates between European countries, in line with the ERGaR scheme rules. Cert-X Europe is designed to support the growing need for seamless integration between registries, further enhancing transparency and efficiency within the renewable gas market across Europe.

The platform, developed by Austrian IT service provider CISMO, officially replaces the older Extravert platform, which is now being phased out. Cert-X Europe offers improved features, scalability, and ease of use, ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders involved in the certificate transfer process.

In recognizing the efforts behind this project, we extend our sincere thanks to the entire CISMO team for their dedication and professionalism throughout the development. Special recognition goes to Julian Auderieth, who led the project, ensuring its timely execution and delivery.

Cert-X Europe is now live and ready to welcome additional registries from across the continent, further supporting the European renewable gas market in its goal of building a more sustainable future.
