ERGaR is proud to welcome Christos Anastasios Tzagkas as the new Policy Officer, strengthening the policy and advocacy team!
Christos is an EU affairs professional from Greece with a strong academic and professional background in European policy and international affairs. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Security and brings hands-on experience from both EU institutions and public affairs consultancies.
In his new role at ERGaR, Christos will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s policy and advocacy efforts at the EU level, working to strengthen the role of renewable gases—such as biomethane—in Europe’s energy transition. His areas of expertise include association management services, EU advocacy strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
Christos is deeply motivated by the EU’s potential to decarbonise its economy and is committed to promoting the interests of the renewable energy and gas sector. His work will contribute to ERGaR’s mission of enabling a cleaner and greener Europe, through the development of a robust and transparent cross-border biomethane market.
