Registrations Open for the European Biomethane Trading Conference 2026

Brussels, December 2025

Registrations are now open for the first European Biomethane Trading Conference, organised by ERGaR.
The conference will take place on 21 April 2026 in Amsterdam.

This new annual event will become a dedicated meeting point for Europe’s biomethane trading community. It will bring together traders, off-takers, producers and registry representatives. The goal is to strengthen the dialogue on renewable gas trade, including cross-border trade, and on certification frameworks.

As the only European conference fully focused on biomethane trading, the event will address key market and policy developments relevant to biomethane and biomethane certificate trading.

The programme will cover, among others:

  • Developments in the biomethane voluntary market, including the GHG Protocol and SBTi
  • The role of bio-LNG in the maritime sector
  • Implementation of RED III across EU Member States
  • Recent EU policy updates relevant to renewable gas markets

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange with key stakeholders from across the value chain and to gain insights into the latest regulatory and market trends.
