ERGaR is pleased to welcome Biogas Danmark as its newest member.
Biogas Danmark is the Danish industry association representing the entire biogas sector and is dedicated to accelerating the green transition through sustainable biogas production and use. The organisation works to promote biogas as a key solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening energy security, and supporting the development of a circular economy.
The association collaborates closely with policymakers, industry stakeholders, researchers, and international partners to improve framework conditions for biogas and increase awareness of the sector’s contribution to climate and energy objectives. Its activities span market analysis, policy development, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement across the full biogas value chain.
By joining ERGaR, Biogas Danmark aims to strengthen international cooperation on renewable gases and contribute to the development of a well-functioning European market for biomethane and green gas certificates. Through this collaboration, the organisation seeks to support harmonisation, transparency, and the exchange of best practices in cross-border renewable gas trade.
The membership also reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that renewable gases play a central role in Europe’s transition towards a climate-neutral energy system.
