ERGaR participated on 16 April in the founding process workshop of the European Network of Network Operators for Hydrogen — ENNOH.
We were pleased to attend and see that concrete steps are being made towards the establishement of this body which will work alongside ENTSOG and ENTSO-E.
Multiple topics have been discussed, including the ten year network development plan (TYNDP), whereas ENTSOG will be working together with ENNOH until 2026, and from 2027 ENNOH should take over.
It also touched upon the network codes, coordination with the EU DSO Entity and ENTSOG but also on the aspect of transparency, with a Union Wide Transparency Platform planned to be operational by 1 October 2026 on access to the network.
The workshop also stressed the importance of stakeholder and public consultation, ensuring that all views are being considered.
As ERGaR, we stay committeed to supporting the development and facilitation of the cross-border trade of renewable gas certificates, including renewable hydrogen, and we will continue to work together with the relevant actors for this to happen.
