Cargill joins ERGaR

Brussels, May 2026

ERGaR delightfully welcomes Cargill as its newest member!

Cargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way. In Europe, the company is also active in bioenergy solutions, including biodiesel, B100, biomethane, and bioLNG. Through these activities, Cargill supports the transition towards more sustainable transport and contributes to the decarbonisation of the logistics sector.

By joining ERGaR, Cargill aims to strengthen its connection with the European biomethane market and gain more visibility on regulatory developments affecting the renewable gas sector.

The membership also reflects Cargill’s interest in contributing to the development of transparent, harmonised, and reliable renewable gas markets across Europe.

Cargill’s activities are closely aligned with ERGaR’s mission to support cross-border trade, certification, and traceability for renewable gases. Its experience in bioenergy and transport decarbonisation will bring valuable industry insight to the ERGaR network.

ERGaR looks forward to working together with Cargill to further advance the role of biomethane and renewable gases in Europe’s energy transition.
